The production process of molybdenum powder is a complex physical and chemical process. Most industrial methods use ammonium molybdate, followed by thermal decomposition and hydrogen reduction. The specific process includes roasting-staged reduction method and ammonium molybdate two-stage reduction method. There are two types of reduction equipment used: fixed bed type and flowing bed type.
